Olivier Dalstein received the best poster award at the ISGS summer school in Berlin for his work entitled :
"Smartphone assisted sensing on nanostructured films obtained by combining Soft Chemistry & Soft Lithography".
After obtaining his engineer degree in Materials Science at Polytech Paris UPMC, Olivier Dalstein is carrying out a PhD in the Laboratoire de Chimie de la Matière Condensée de Paris (LCMCP - UPMC), dealing with the fabrication of multi-scale nanostructured materials for optics and nanofluidics by combining chemical liquid deposition, self-assembly and lithography (e.g. soft Nano-Imprinting Lithography). A recent work was focusing on the fabrication of optical systems (Diffraction Gratings) and their combination with Metal-Organic Frameworks materials to obtain innovative chemical sensors. This PhD is based on a strong collaboration with the Laboratoire de Photonique et de Nanostructures (LPN-C2N-CNRS) concerning the lithography techniques.
